Postcards for a Songbird by Rebekah Crane
5.0
This book is incorrectly labeled in pages. It's an even 250. Also, I'm not sure what other individuals were meaning when they didn't understand Lizzie wasn't real. Or that it wasn't a solid book. I LOVED it. I think the characters were imaginative, the writing was beautiful, the descriptions had solid imagery, and the metaphors were flawless. I think the issue that some might be having is the age at which they read the book... I've found I related to this coming of age more as a 30-year-old adult than I would have at 13-15 years old. The human connection in this book is real, vibrant, beautiful, and thoroughly expressed. I also think some of the topics in this book are more adult-like which again, makes it easier for me to connect with. Either way. 10/10 enjoyed and would recommend.
