The Sand Warrior

I loved the art and character designs. The movements felt dynamic and the colors were brilliant. The pacing was a little off on this one though. It somehow felt too slow, boring at times, and others it was too fast. Like I felt like I was missing some transition panels. And I wish we had gotten a chance to sit with the characters a bit and get to know their histories a little more. I also hated how An Tzu became so cold and mean to Jax as soon as he learned Jax was an android. For someone so compassionate and helpful, this felt like such an out of character twist. I hope that either changes in the next volumes or we at least get an explanation for why an tzu feels this way about androids.
