This was a unique retelling of the fairytales we all know. The tales are magically dark and twisty. This was not for smaller children, I read with my tween, and she was surprised by some of the stories. There are 12 tales, but man Peter Pan was the one that got me! It was beautiful story told by Wendy who loves her pirate. I was bawling by the end of the story. Beauty and the Beast was another one of my favorites, straight to the heart. I loved the twist and turns this book took you through.
