I Am Not Starfire by Mariko Tamaki

Quick read about a prickly teen who happens to be the daughter of Starfire.

Listen, I'm not the biggest expert on Teen Titans. Most of my knowledge comes from the genius Teen Titans Go, so...I don't know how this fits in the canon. I'm also getting to an age where I don't care so much what fits in the canon. It's a good little story. Sure, I have some questions about motivation. Maybe the ending get a little rushed? But all in all I think there are a lot of teen girls--and other people in general--who can relate to this story, specifically trouble living up to societal/parental expectations.

I state this perhaps a bit more emphatically than I intended because I made the mistake of reading some of the other reviews before posting. Mercy, some folks need to chill.
