Recommended by a friend, I wasn't holding high expectations for Beckett's memoir. I don't find his stand-up or comedy appearances anything special, but I thought this was a great listen. He managed to balanced humour and personal experience with an analysis of the British class system which is based in anecdotal lived experience rather than academic theories and is so much more approachable. Really made me think about how we consider 'class' in the UK whilst also having a few chuckles along the way.
