This was such a cute and cozy read! I love playing Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons games, and this felt just like the stories and conversations I would make up for side characters while playing.

Hakumei and Mikochi are two friends living together in a little house in the woods. They cook, do odd jobs, shop in markets, and participate in village activities with their friends. Other characters are a mix of other little elf-like people and animals, all of whom have such big personalities. Each chapter is its own individual story and spaced apart from each other with town origins, side conversations, flashbacks, and excerpts from news articles. Tiny Little Life in the Woods is focused on two characters, but shows so much of a big world and I can't wait to read more volumes.
