I had no idea what this book was about, just that it had been recommended in a book group for people who liked survivalist fiction.

My husband is from Idaho, so that connection is what originally drew me in and kept my attention. This memoir was heart wrenching and still hopeful. I'm really glad I randomly picked it up!
