Did not finish book. Stopped at 55%.

The characters felt hollow and I wasn’t getting the sunshine/grump vibe that it promised…more like sunshine vs insecure/scared. The power differential between the characters was acknowledged but I didn’t feel like it was handled well. I kept reading just to get to the smut that everyone was talking about so I could at least feel SOMETHING besides annoyance but it just annoyed me even more.
