DNF'D at 80%. I should have stopped at the beginning when I thought wait is this just the hunger games, because it was. I kept waiting for something unique, but it was really just the tension between Kai and Pae that was interesting, buts it's YA so I know they wouldn't even pick up. I end up just reading a spoiler and o don't think I can sit through another book. Maybe I've read too many books because it was like oh this is hunger games plus Kingmaker Chronicles and ever fairy smut book I've ever read, but without the smut. The dialogue even got annoying beverages every time he called her Violent I was like UGH what book is that nickname from?
