If I could rate any book I’ve ever read five stars, it would be this one. Every sentence was so carefully curated, it was so lyrical and beautiful. I just loved the style of the book. Werner, Marie Laure, Etienne, Papà, Jutta, Madame Manec and so many people that will stay with me forever. I feel that a world has been opened to me and a new standard of writing has emerged.
