God I love this book, it's by far one of my favorites and I always get teary each time I read it. I remember when I found it it my family's book box and I am so undescribably glad I did. Knulps talk with God and with his friend in the 2nd and 3rd chapters are probably the best pieces of literature I've ever read just from how human they are. I read them when I don't have a good grip on reality or just whenever I feel the need to. Will always recommend <3
