The Sin Eater by Megan Campisi
3.0

I near enough inhaled this book. It did not take me long to read at all.

There are many positives I found with this book but also a few negatives.

The writing was extremely simplistic as this book is told in the point of view of a 14 year old girl. The characters tended to not have names and were instead described by their most prominent feature. I found this a nice and easy way to remember all of the characters even if it did get a little confusing at times.

The role of a sin eater was incredibly weird but also opened many doors to our protagonist which helped her solve the mystery.

There were hints of feminism and dystopia thrust in the novel but nothing too solid.

Overall this book was good and I would like to read wha ever else Megan Campisi releases.

This was a good book, not great, but had many redeeming qualities
