This book isn't for everyone. If you read the trigger warnings and thought they were exaggerating or if you skipped the warnings completely, it's your own fault if you found out you couldn't handle the book. That being said...

Are we really meant to believe that the man who dedicates his life to saving women and children from trafficking rings while murdering people pedophiles and abusers is ok with being....an abuser? The same kinks could have been explored without having to start off with sexual assault.

"little mouse" "little girl" please don't make me vomit. Are we really meant to believe the murderer of pedophiles would actually get off on infantilizing a grown woman? Please.

Lastly, the typos and grammatical errors were enough to seriously irritate my soul.

Loved the investigation of Gigi's murder. Would have loved the relationship without the sexual assault and weird infantilizing of the FMC. Plot was predictable when it came down to Zade being Daya's boss and Addie being taken. I knew leaving Max alive was a huge mistake. Overall, it seemed like trying to roll too many booktok kinks into one story.
