This has been on my to-read list for a few years. September has National Suicide Prevention Week so I thought this would be a fitting time to read this book. This is a real look into what the life of someone who is considering suicide or has attempted suicide looks like. I think people who have never had these problems don't think it's a real problem. I think those people should read this book.
I like how the author end the books, leaving it a little open two interpretation. The story between Santana and Daylin kind of reminded me of the Fault in Our Stars. This was a slightly darker version but definitely I think a Rita like for anyone who likes that book. I love the very back of the book and how several pages are dedicated to understanding and bisecting suicide bullying all of these different terms and things that are related. Behind that there's even a lot of information about what to look for in a friend or what to do if you're feeling like that and I think that's probably the most important part of the entire book.
