Fantastic, gripping document about how the justice system in Arkansas failed three teenagers wrongfully accused of murder. This book stands in judgement of the police, judge and prosecutors who so clearly had a vendetta against Damien, Jessie and Jason because of their outcast social status.
The West Memphis Three’s case has been largely publicised throughout the media over the years, mainly due to HBO’s ‘Paradise Lost’ series. While this book was published in 2002, and the boys cases overturned in 2011, the book feels unfinished, an updated version would greatly enhance the reading.
