This story focuses on a woman's breakthrough into historically male-only roles, such as those at NASA, and I'm assuming it's based on Sally Ride—a theme I strongly support. While the pacing could have been a bit quicker in the middle, the rich details and empowering narrative more than make up for it. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical fiction and stories of women's achievements.
