Stuff I've Been Feeling Lately by Alicia Cook

3.0

The first part of this book was just blankly boring. I didn't like it all that much. Sure, there were a few poems that I loved and I would definitely reread, but the rest were just not interisting. The second part of this book, side B, was absolutely amazing! I loved it so freaking much. In this part, she took the poems from side A en made new shorter poems out of a few words in this book

like this:

The letters behind the cursor are already in the past . That's how fast it all happens. A finite twenty six letters create an infinite trail of breadcrumbs that leads to different moments, that lead to who I was just moment before. I am no longer the person I was just a twinkling ago. The changes are 30 minutes, but they are there. You may think you remain the same person you were. A day ago. An hour ago. A page ago. A line break ago. But you are not.

Let's be honest here! That's just so freaking amazing! If you like this kinda poetry, read this!
