The instalove made the love story uninteresting to me, so that was the biggest drawback. I did, however, like that the female lead was a good communicator, and didn't make rookie dumb decisions. She was usually the voice of reason. I would have enjoyed a love triangle involving Sebastian but it didn't go there. When I finished it, I wasn't planning to read further into the series but on second thought, I think I might give it a try.
