It is so good to return to Fitz. This book had me by the throat. I couldn't have stopped reading if I wanted to. Hobb keeps introducing new fascinating characters (shout out to Revel) and every return of an old character feels like coming home. Again, the relationships and the character interactions are what makes RotE shine. The book contained so many surprises and I can't wait to see what this last trilogy has in store.
