Such a cool concept and amazing main characters. I loved following the two sisters and really appreciated how they both got the same number of POVs. It didn't feel like one sister was the mc over the other one.
The first half is really slow and not much besides some bickering happens. It's really more focused on warming up to the characters.
Luckily, after that, the pace picked up. Especially in the last part.
Whilst I liked all the characters, I sadly found both relationships underdeveloped and rushed. They just kinda decided at the end that they're gonna have feelings for each other now. It really felt like Kamilah Cole really just wanted a romantic kiss for both sisters in the final battle, but she didn't have the time to properly build up to it. Regardless, I really enjoy both love interests.
