Agatha Christie pulled another one on me. I can’t believe I go into these books every time thinking it is going to be the same old tried and true formula and then it gets completely flipped. I won’t say this is her best work. There’s more of Poirot’s blatant misogyny in here, which I’m starting to realize is actually just Agatha Christie’s own biases against her own sex. But the puzzle pulls me in every time, and every time it turns out different than expected.
