The Inmate
by Freida McFadden
And yet again, Freida McFadden surprises me with her brilliant ideas and her way of plot twists.
This is my second book of hers, the first was The Perfect Son. I read this book without having any high expectations, I was just reading for the fun of it. And again, Freida McFadden amaze me with her writing.
One thing I should probably get used to her books is that there is plot twist every time..one plot twist after another. When you think you figured out the plot…Freida McFadden will surprise you with yet again..another plot twist.
I won’t talk much about the plot, just read and you’ll find out on your own. The only main reason I give this book 4 stars because there are some stuff that I wish were not included like the intimate relationship and stuff, but I’m glad it didn’t go into detail, so that also adds up to why I like this author (I have only read 2 of her books…I’ll probably find out more about her once I read more of her books.)
So anyway, I really recommend this book if you like thriller and psychological thriller, because I definitely looooove this book, it keeps on making me wanting to read and read and read and read.
Another reason I loooooove Freida McFadden books is because of the way she writes her books. I don’t know how she can come up with the craziest yet the best plot twists ever. Like literally. Just read her books and you’ll understand.
Also can I just hate for no reason? I don’t like the fmc (I actually like her) because she’s so dumb sometimes. But I can’t blame her since she went true so many traumas and her mind is so disturbed she can’t be thinking straight.
And also, I love Josh. But the last line of this book makes me wonder…is he like his father and grandmother? guess we’ll never know…
And that’s also why I love reading this author’s books…the end is always another question..even after the mystery is solved.
The fact that this is not a review but reasons why I love Frieda McFadden’s books is funny.
