Out of the entire series, I've always loved this book the best.
I love that the heroine is a "plus size" (although honestly a 16/18 is the norm for a lot of us) woman with her insecurities showing. In reading some of Bride's inner dialogue, it hit close to heart especially some scenes with her lying ex but reading as she pushes through some of her hangups with Vane and having him literally show his affection at every possible moment... swoon.
This time I gave an extra star because of the audio narrator, Fred Berman, who I got the pleasure of hearing read this and not going to lie... hearing him read the Vane lines, had convinced me to keep trying audio books 💞
