I've never read a book quite like this. Initially I felt like the reader had to put in some work to adjust to being thrust into the world of City of Storms, but the effort ending up being completely rewarded. There are so many twists and turns, I still don't know who the true villains are, and I am hooked! My interests were piqued with a Godless church and the intrigue never stopped. I cannot wait to see how this series ends.
