Bret Easton Ellis, famous author of Less Than Zero and American Psycho, recounts his senior year at the prestigious Buckley prep school in Los Angeles when a serial killer known as the Trawler, began stalking teenagers throughout the city, which also coincided with the arrival of a mysterious new student named Robert Mallory. If you’re a fan of his work, then you will be transfixed. Dark and very disturbing - full of the drama and intrigue of rich and spoiled kids and yet leaves an underlying deep sense of dread and fear throughout. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
Additional plus – if you grew up in the 80s like I did, you won’t get enough of the pop culture references!!!
