✨I take back what I’ve been saying this was a gooooood book! I think my own anxieties were making me feel like this wasn’t the book for me but this was such a great story about motherhood and not having everything together and making mistakes.
✨there was a plot line that I actively knew I did not like and I knew it was not going to end well… but then it happened. and, without spoilers, things did get messy but by the end of the book I was rooting for things to work out.
✨this story isn’t magically resolved by the end either. Mika’s ending in this book is happy and full of new beginnings but she is still working on herself and relationships and has a long ways to go, but the reader can be optimistic that she is finally finding her footing and I loved that.
