A good ending to the series, although the climax was somewhat anticlimactic and predictable.
The Will and the Old Man came together to form the Architect, who was bored of life and limitless power and wanted to die; the glitch was, the Old Man was a part of herself with whom she disagreed, and chained with an indestructible chain. So long as the chains remain, the Old Man would be caged, would not re-unite with the Architect and she could not die. She told this after letting Nothing destroy everything, then stepped into Nothing herself. Arthur is now the creator of the universe.
What a power trip. From a mortal boy to all of that, a boy who the entire time was moaning for his old life -- which I personally do not understand. I'd more be like, YEAH, Power!! ;D Probably a good reason for why I shouldn't ever be chosen..

An enjoyable read, with 1 star docked for the too-pat ending. Recommended.
