Entitled: How Male Privilege Hurts Women
by Kate Manne
Written for a broader audience, Entitled takes Mann's arguments from Down Girl and illustrates them with current events for an engaging and relatable read.
From the first chapter illuminating just how fatal the "nice guy" approach is to women to the last chapter about women and power, I found myself relating to every chapter. Mann goes over her definition for "Himapthy," about women as human givers rather than human beings, and defines morality simply as the understanding of "what you are owed and you owe others."
Written for every person that's had guys follow them around pontificating about how nice they are and why do you always date assholes, who's had a doctor tell her she's imagining her symptoms, who have been mansplained to, and other such daily occurrences - this book will illuminate why.
