The Woman Next Door by Cass Green

4.0

I really enjoyed this book. Two women elderly Hester and self-obsessed Melissa are thrown together by an event which takes place in Melissa's kitchen.

I found the characters well developed and started the story feeling a little sorry for poor lonely Hester and a dislike for Melissa who came across as cold and rude. My feelings for the characters changed throughout the course of the book as more was revealed about their past which went a way to explain why they acted the way they were.

A great read if you enjoy a psychological thriller.
