Three Amazing Things About You by Jill Mansell

4.0

It was my first time reading Mansell and I have to say I am a hopeless sap. Three Amazing things about you is about three girls: Tasha who has recently fallen in love and Rory is perfect in every way except he is a adrenaline junkie. She worries someday she is going to wake up with his remains splattered on some Tibetan mountain. There were times I thought I knew where this relationship was going and I was happy to be proven wrong.

There is Flo who has inherited a Cat from her employer and the Cat has inherited a flat. So Flo has to move in with the Cat. The problem is that the original owner's granddaughter Lena had it in her to finally acquire the flat and thinks Flo is some fraud. Lena Hates Flo in capital letters while Xander- her brother is slowly Falling for Flo. .

And our star, Hayley. The book opens and she is seen ready to finally get a heart and lung transplant...but whose? At 30 Hayley has no hope that they will find a heart and lung pair that'll match hers. Riddled by cystic fibrosis, Hayley is in her last year's. She handles a blog/ advise column called 'three Amazing things about you' where she asks people to tell her three things about themselves and their problems and so she advises them based on the answers. I did get a kick out of the blog. .

The ending of this story, you guessed it, ends with a neat little bow placed on all three storylines finally interweaving. All three stories are warm, witty and wonderful. I seriously felt I was genuinely indulging in every aspect of this book as I read. This story also deals with organ donation, Cyster fibrosis and by extension impending death which makes it even more beautiful as it ends on a positive note. The flow of the story is great considering it deals with 3 separate character's. .
