Eyes Turned Skyward is a forbidden romance with a general's daughter and a helicopter pilot who is known as a bit of a maverick. Always more than what others see, he is making his own way through the world. When Jagger falls for Paisley he falls hard. Together they work their way through a bucket list of activities. Paisley longs for a bit more freedom to live her life.
Can they take a risk to show each other all of them selves so their love flourish? I adored the back and forth of Paisley and Jagger. The snark was excellent and through the angst of both not revealing the whole of their stories, we see who they really are.

I adored this story. I had congenital heart defects, so seeing one represented on page was really emotional for me. This book will tug at your heartstrings while giving you all the feels.
