“There’s a difference between taking care of someone because you love them and taking care of someone because you want them to love you.” — book quote ♡
did not get bored once in this entire book. & that’s saying a lot since it’s 600 pages! every chapter was filled with humor, sadness, and character development to move the plot along. even the chapters that may not have a direct impact did not feel like filler. every scene, word, and dialogue felt so intentional to bring everything together at the end & I loved the rollercoaster.
the book felt like something straight out of a romantic comedy, a chic-flic, a cliche but I do not say that negatively because it was done so well. nothing felt overdone or downplayed & maybe I’m just a sucker for love stories & sunshine x grump tropes but this is definitely a book to read & recommend.

“and then you say,
I want you for worse or for better.
I would wait for ever and ever.
broke your heart, I'll put it back together.
I would wait for ever and ever.” — lyrics ♬
