Warm and cozy vibe but lacked character depth and plot development. The setting and “vibe” is really what carried this one for me. The writing needs some work. “Draggos” for a nickname for baby dragons is a bit lackluster and on the nose.
Overall, the book was enjoyable as a cozy, fantasy with a romance subplot. Easy to read & short.
Told in dual POV. We follow a cafe owner Saphira who can barely stay afloat because she opened her business to baby dragons who set fires to everything. Then we have local gardener Aiden who happens to need help training his baby dragon.
Grumpy X Sunshine. Lots of dragons. Cozy.
The audiobook was a lot better than the physical book. Told in dual narration.
