One of the greatest epic adventure stories I have ever read. Coming from the first book which focused primarily on the main character Cahlen and the group he travels with, this one breaks off into lots of different POV characters all spread across the continent. This book is filled with awesome battle scenes that put you right into the scene in the way Ryan Cahill can describe it. The ending of this book was amazing and makes you want to read the 3rd book right away.
