Dare I say, this is a blatant rip-off of The Secret History. The same dynamics, plot, and setting. Only that the characters in TSH are much deeper and less annoying.
I had a really hard time reading this, as the plot is predictable, and some events don’t even make much sense. Also, the author apparently has some questionable opinions about women. Meredith’s entire traits are being hot and being a whore, while Filippa and Wren are so forgettable, compared to their male counterparts.
2 stars for the attempt to structure the book like a play, and some good pieces of writing here and there. Other than that, not much to write home about.
