Shadowhouse Fall (the Shadowshaper Cypher, Book 2), Volume 2 by Daniel José Older
4.0
This series is so diverse and fierce and REAL. I'm really loving it, and I still think this is exactly what YA could use more of: black narrators and brutal honesty.
My only complaint is that the first book felt like a prequel to this. So while I'm intrigued by what will come next, and I love the build of the characters and their powers and their world, it took this long to finally get to the point of the series.
