Beautiful writing but it somewhat felt like a collection of short stories jumbled together with 2D side characters.
Unfortunately, I just couldn't quite get on board with Hera as a main character, I couldn't root for her. I maybe understood her slightly better by the end of the book but I certainly didn't feel any kind of attachment.
I love jennifer saint and her writing is exquisite but as a story, this just slightly missed the mark for me Unfortunately.
