If you like Bridgerton for the Romance, then this might be the book for you.
I will preface this with saying I was misled about this book. It was recommended to me as being “the handflex scene from P&P coupled with historical political intrigue”. While that is definitely a fair description, I was not expecting the bedroom scenes that followed.

My chief disappointments are the lack of political intrigue and the characters’ continuous uncharacteristic choices. I love a good ol’ historic political novel… the debate, patriotism, a historic sense of duty from royalty… This just wasn’t THAT book. It felt that all of that became the B plot (and Oxford Women’s College the C plot) as soon as the kissing started.
I did finish the book because I was hopeful, but every plot point was a left.

TL;DR not for me. Too much leg, not enough law
