I am still in love with this world! The fantastical elements of this regency England world are so wonderful and pull me right back in. I loved Abigail's story, and Mercy's character development. The only reason this isn't a 5 star for me, is simply because I, personally, have a different view on death than our main character. 

I lean more towards accepting death as a part of life, rather than trying to fight it tooth and nail. And rejecting it. So I didn't necessarily agree with the "message" of the book. But I do agree with letting people make their own choices about it and how they respond to it! And after reading the afterword/acknowledgements I was grateful she ended the novel the way she did.

 

The story was beautiful and the way the love unfolded was wonderful to read!
