It was a good read, something different I am not used to.
Firstly, I like how the author created the characters; their flaws and desires. They seem very realistic and sometimes relatable.
Secondly, I find that the "mystery" of the book (whether Gretchen had a virgin birth or not) is truly original and have never thought about it until now.
I didn't expect the ending to be like that, it's the first thing that we read in the book, but you don't see it coming until you read it in the last chapter.
