A Kind of Magic by Anna Spargo-Ryan

5.0

I picked up this book after enjoying Anna's tweets and because I'm still learning to understand and explain the anxiety that's always inside of me. There were parts in this book that were like cracking open my brain and heart and suddenly understanding myself, especially my young self. It was beautiful, funny, wrenching, frustrating. I cried at the end and thought about crying so many times before that. I sent screenshots of parts that resonated to friends, and tried to talk about it with my parents. I can't put in to words all the ways I felt moved, but it was constant.
