At first it intrigued me, especially with the anonymous letters, make me curious who write those and what their intentions.
And also it's quite short less than 300 pages, even with long chapters i have no struggle reading it at first, but, in the middle of the story i get so bored. And i don't like the main character. I don't even understand why he so important when he actually new to the town.
I don't really like how Miss Marple barely making appearance in here. Like I want to see her using her own way trying to find the truth. But, we need to wait until 70% through the book. And she only appears couple of times.
I don't really like romance aspect on thriller-mystery, and the way this man insist to be with her make me feel disgusted. Like, duh. You are not cool, bruh.
When the culprit get revealed, i'm no longer excited so it's more like, "oh, okay, so it was you". And i don't like the reason behind all those letters and victim accidents.
