The Killer Question
by Janice Hallett
This is the third book I’ve read of Janice Hallett and she’s solidified herself as an auto-read author. All the books I’ve read of hers have been mixed media format. In this case there are emails, texts, What’s App chats, and trivia night pamphlets. Those keep me turning the pages because each section is short.
Each book contains a mystery but this one had me second guessing myself the whole way through. Hallett writes her characters so well, I can picture each one in my mind, which is very helpful when there are a lot of characters to keep straight! I wasn’t ever questioning who was who, though.
Janice Hallett books are best read in the physical format. Some pages include font which would be much better in print than on an ereader because the pages are condensed down in the digital format, making the print very small. I’ve not tried an audio version, but I just think the mixed media format lends itself best to a physical book in your hands.
Rating:
I loved it
What you’ll find:
Trivia nights
Many questionable characters
Mixed media
England setting
