Who's That Girl? The Autobiography of Eve by Eve

emotional funny informative reflective fast-paced

2.5

I was hoping to get more out of this than I did. While it was interesting to hear about Eve’s rise, especially in a time where women weren’t often afforded the opportunities she was. But a lot of this memoir came off like a name drop and underdeveloped. It was too short to truly dive into the interesting aspects and too detailed to be cohesive. I’m also unsure if it was because she read it that it felt very casual, but the writing was not what I was expecting either. If you’re a fan, I’m sure a lot of this will be familiar and I don’t necessarily recommend.
