I feel like this entire book couldâve ended in 200 pages if Grim just told Isla what was going on. Like just explain to her the reasoning behind attacking Lightlark instead of waiting for her memories to resurface. So dumb and frustrating. This whole book was like a big miscommunication trope. Also, I still donât see how that justifies killing innocents when he could just explain everything instead. I want to be team Grim so bad, but I just canât because heâs beyond toxic.
Makes me want to pull my hair out. It got pretty boring halfway through but the last 20% of the book was worth it.
Anyone else hoping this will end up being a âwhy choose?â I doubt it will but that would be ideal. If onlyâŚ
