I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer by Michelle McNamara

3.0

I liked this book but I also didn't find it the most coherent. The prose was incredible and it was clear that the author had a great passion but, perhaps because there are so many details and crimes, it all got lost in the noise. There's also the added difficulty of the fact that McNamara never finished her book. It was pieced together after her death. I ultimately thought it was interesting and if she had been able to finish it then its possible it would be 4-5 stars.
