Lena Dunham's style has always been funny, yet pretentious. The memoir proves that the rest of her work is largely autobiographical. I listened to part of the audio book and read the rest. I would advise, if you are to 'read' this book, you do the same. The audio is read by her so it makes it a little funnier with her presentation. All-in-all, I would say it is a decent book but you could watch 'Tiny Furniture' or 'Girls' and see the exact same humor and story line.
