This is fun in a dark way. I picked this up because I couldn’t take my mind off the blurb. I wasn’t disappointed!
This isn’t a book about arcs or character development. It’s creepy, weirdly funny, and focused on what it’s like to be human.
It does slow down in some place. However, I personally think that’s normal for translated work, and I don’t think it detracted from how much I enjoyed it.

Graphic: Violence, Murder
Moderate: Body horror, Death, Dysphoria, Injury/Injury detail
