Aiden is a pillar in the community, a hard working man with a daughter and who was recently widowed. To the outside world he is the guy that you go to when there is a problem and he is always willing to lend a helping hand. To Rachel he is her worst nightmare. To Cecilia he is her over protective father. To Emily he is the perfect man. When all of their worlds start to collide will the real Aiden finally be revealed?

I'm still figuring out how I fully feel about this book. I went into it pretty blind, I had seen it posted about in a couple of places and thought that it looked interesting so added it to my tbr. I can honestly say that I did not see any of this book coming.

I loved how this book was structured. There were more POVs than I can name right now, and in the audio book each new POV had a different person reading the chapter. I loved that while the book is really about Aiden it is primarily told from Rachel, Ceci, and Emily’s perspectives. I really liked how as I was reading it there were a lot of times when I was left questioning the information that I had. Including now as I am typing this there is a part of me that is still questioning some of the information.

There were many twists and turns and I loved that they did not feel like they were there for a shock. The twists moved the story along and made me question how I felt about different characters throughout. I know that there were times when I couldn't help but respond out loud to certain situations and I did not always agree with the decisions the characters were making.

I have read many thrillers but I don't think that I have ever read one quite like this. While I really enjoyed the book overall I want to be clear that this is not a light read. I should have finished this book a couple of days ago but ended up needing to take a couple of days because I just needed to focus on lighter things. The pace was medium and at times fast. The chapter lengths varied. I felt engaged throughout the book.

If you enjoy dark thrillers and never knowing what is going to happen next you should definitely check out this book.
