All the Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham

5.0

My anxiety has been quelled: her second book was just as great as her first!

I loved A Flicker in the Dark, and this one is just as good (if not a little better). While I adored it, I found AFITD pretty predictable, so I was pleased with all the turns this one took. It felt like there was a genuine effort to tie up the loose ends.

There couldn't be a better time to read this book, as there are certain headlines in the news right now that are very relevant to one of its main themes. I found it was a really compassionate look at how women can be treated (and mistreated) for things that are outside of their control.

Also, I just really like mysteries that flip back and forth between the past and present.

My copy had 2 typos I could find, but I'm hoping that's an e-book transcription error and not a "the author had to write her newest novel so quickly that there was no time for small edits" error.
